So how would she feel about demo-team-scheme aircraft (e.g., Thunderbirds, Red Arrows, Blue Angels) or NASCAR subjects?

QUOTE: Cheaper than diamonds! Well as long as she don't get into wanting some 1/16 anyway!

Or resin, or multiple Leopolds, just to see what the differences in the kits are. Just wait 'til the "After Market Virus" bites her. Then you'll be wishing for diamonds!! lol

I still think it's worth it to have a "hobby buddy" right there at home!

Chris,
congratulations!
i just bought the Quad w/ 25 pounder yesterday.
i guess i thought i needed something for the towed group build too!
(and apparently the Italeri SU-122 on my shelf/closet was not appealing to me.)

Chris, your wife got sucked into that vortex called the Dark Side. She now realizes she can never escape it. LOL

A few of the ones I brought were hers actually. The amphi jeep and halftrack were her work. She wanted to come but had to stay here to wait for the boys to get back home. Hopefully she can come next time though.

Chris, nice going. Now you'll have to compete with her at the next Region 3 contest!

Dwight, I don't think I have to worry about her grabbing the M26, when i opened the box she said I was nuts for getting something with that many pieces. Oh yea I forgot to ask if someone wants a good deal on a half built P-38. She decided planes are not for her. Any takers? Huh? Oh well guess it'll make for some good plastic to practice things on. Congrats on the "conquest", Chris. Too bad more of us aren't in the same boat! At least my wife is somewhat tolerant. Count you little blessings!

Don't be too comfy about it LQ2. Soon she'll sneak into your M26 and take it away from you. LOL. Just kidding. Seriously, I think it is good that you have the same interests. At least the only point of argument now is who gets what. He-he-he.

I'm sure we have said it before, you're a lucky guy Chris. I wish my wife had even a little interest in the hobby. Count your blessings my friend. That deuce in a half looks like a great kit from what I've heard. Only one color too! LOL

Well my wife has suprised [:0] me again. She "forced" me to take her to get some models today Cool [8D]. I think she has totally lost intrest in the P-38, still sitting in the box half built. She told me today she wanted some armor Big Smile [:D]. So of coarse me being a good husband, quickly loaded everybody up in the car and headed to the store. She picked out the british 25 pdr gun and quad tractor and a duece and a half. Looks like she is goin to join up in her first CBP with the gun tractor. There you guys, another for the darkside Evil [}:)].
