Advice needed on 'Vallejo Acrylic Polyurethane Gloss Varnish':
Posted by Hinksy on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 10:33 AM

Hi guys,

I ordered a bunch of Vallejo Stuff at the weekend and it arrived just now.

All is fine but I didn't order the correct Vallejo Gloss Varnish teeth

First of the Vallejo number is 26526.

On the bottle it's called 'Vallejo Acrylic Polyurethane Gloss Varnish' and although it looks exactly the same as their 'normal' gloss it says Hybrid Resin' too.

I don't know if it will be suitable for our type of work?

Does anyone know about this stuff? It still looks Milky White but this is a little bit more 'gloopier' (no giggling at the back) and it smells stronger too.

Cheers fellas,

Ben Toast

Many thanks, thumbs up

Hi,

don' t worry about. I use the "matte varnish" more than the "gloss" one and Vallejo may have changed some minor parts of  the ingerdients, but at least it's the same and you will get the same results.

The mentioned #26525 is a bottle of 60ml instead of those tiny ones of 17ml.

The new type of "varnish" is better than the older ones. So don't hesitate to work first at a sample to come familiar with Vallejo Acryllics.
