Ready to rock and roll. Local find, belongs to the Badger Mn. fire dept.. Vehicle is in service.
Ok ,the wife and I are in Grafton No. Dak. and we stumble upon this roadside memorial featuring the 105 howitzer.
From this memorial we continued on and got the stepson all married off. On sunday as we were getting ready to go home I gently explained to the wife the need to make a sixty mile detour to get a photo of what I thought was a sherman,LOL geuss we drove by so fast twenty years ago I mis-identified it. Anyhow here it is. That handsome devil in the pic is indeed yours truly.
Only got one pic..So I may have to return with a real camera.

LOL ok I did take more than one pic.

What a great find! Hope you know how to hot-wire it?

Intriguing find.
Realistic weathering technique, but needs more rust.
Old goats never die.....they become fire vehicles....
Nice old Gamma Goat
Rounds Complete!!
"The Moral High Ground....A Great Place to Emplace Artillery."
Gama Goat ................thanks for clearing that up for me Mike...........i didnt know what i was looking at ................nice find Greg !
M561 6x6 tactical, neat vehicle. Bill Murray drove one in the movie Stripes.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Going to fargo on thurs. for some test to see whats wrong with me,then I may swing through aneta N.D. and get some pics of a shermie they have there. The Gamma goat is only forty or so miles away. I was sort of amazed at how simple the design is. I think the last time I saw a Goat in action was in some rough terrain in the NTC.
I wonder if that one would still float? Our Army was so enamored by amphibious tactical vehicles back then.
Wow, nice camo outfit...SCORE!
Yea....but I am sure the stupid pumps don't work anymore!!
Updated with more pics.
Well, I found it - so now it will be on page one for a little while . Thats a M42 Duster, allright. And you managed to get the photos of the interior of the gun mount - respect! Those are not so easy to find. Those photos will help me a lot with my model - thanks for sharing and have a nice day
