New Dragon Maultier

A new mule is being released by Dragon and should be a most welcome upgrade over the still decent Italeri offering of yesteryear. Cool Volstad art, so it can't be too far away from release.

Yep, it's going to be welcome I'm sure. I believe it's slated for a July 2012 release but don't hold me to that. Smile

One reply? I guess there isn't as much excitement as I thought there'd be. Confused

OK OK.  Not enuf responses?  I'll pop for what, nr 9?!

New mule.  YEAH!  Let's have one!

Hey!  I'll be in line for it!  Big Smile  Let's hope that it actually does some justice to the various things which loiter salient about this beast - like its suspension and ideally some correct running gear - wheels, etc.  Sure could go far to make this new release a success!  Whistling  Not that the old Italeri kit is all wrong - but something a bit crisper and with some improved details and the like, and better tracks - yeah, BETTER tracks, I say - would be greatly appreciated by some of us!

As I'm a flak-38 and flak-truck/track fan, getting a mule and loading it up with a 2cm pop-gun is really in the soon cards - I have the -38 kit ready!Stick out tongue

I confess some slight (but rather pleasant) surprise, though... given the D's track-record with that Blitz - an icon and a standard German thing if ever they kitted one - only to have it kitted as a white box special by CH... -  and here we look like the D is going to leap right into a general or standard "SmartKit" release of a mule and skip past the added price and limited access provided by the WB format!  I LOVE it!  Great decision, by me!SurpriseBig Smile  Of course, once I get one, and start into that Flak 38 to mount in it, out will pop, like rabbit from a white hat, a CH special of mule-with-flak gun!  But at least that would be a "special" (but not one-off) version and thus more appropriate for that WB treatment.

I too thought about adding a 20mm to the bed. Of course, Dragon has probably already thought of different variants for this chassis and is busy on as we speak.

This should be a marked improvement over the decent Italeri offering.

I can't seem to get hot-links from Safari.

Same here... I can no longer create hot links using my new Mac laptop.  How do I make it work?

I think that's great about updated Maultier but I am not sure if I will ever buy it.  Too many armor especially German to cover before I start to run out so I can start building soft skins.  Stick out tongue
