Humbrol Olive Drab???
Posted by Zero Enna on Saturday, June 2, 2012 8:43 PM

There's two references for Olive Drab: #66 and #155. I'd like to know which is a closer match to Model Master 1711, That paint is sold out here in Lima. I also have Model Master 2051 Faded Olive Drab, not sure which to use. I'm building an M24 Chaffe. Thanks a lot in advance. Best regards.

Humbrol 155 is the match for that Testors color. Humbrol 66 is a much darker and bluish shade. I might suggest a base coat of 1711 OD with highly thinned  horizontal surfaces of 2051 Faded OD for a nice weathered look fading into the base color on the vertical surfaces from top to bottom.
