Someday I decided I need non-stress project. I just wanted to make a quick build, and Tamiya builds like Lego blocks, which is perfect for this approach. Sherman airbrushed with Tamiya acrylics, weathering done with pigments and artistic oils.Base from piece of styrofoam, with small rocks, finished with pigments & oils.

I really like your Shermy. I've always liked them in the two-tone camo. Great weathering and base to boot.
Are you strictly allied or do you do all kinds?
Eric
Hi tigerman,
I'm glad you like it. For most part I'm allied, but from time to time I visit the dark side
For my own collection I build 1/72, while for others usually 1/35.
I'll try to catch up with uploading my previous builds within next few days (only if my 2-month old Little Boss will allow )
Looks really good!
I really like that pattern, too.
Nice work! I've enjoyed looking at your SF models and it's cool to see you doing armour too. I too love the camo scheme, wish the US Army had used it more often, much more interesting than the plain jane OD green.

Can't argue with the results! Nice work on the vehicle and the base.

Thanks fellas :) I really appreciate your kind comments.

HEY, A NEW GUY!!!...
Really nice work overall, I'm especially diggin' the camo' work!
The effort on the base is noteworthy but IMO it's a bit distracting. I'm drawn to the variety of rock shapes and colors...You may want to consider a more neutral/ monotone approach, or maybe less rocks more strategically placed...food for thought

Guys, so many nice words I really appreciate the comments.
For some base might be a slight distraction, but it shows how well the camo works
Hopefully, I'll be able to upload some more builds soon...
