I seem to be enjoying building artillery pieces these days. I just finished this M198 Howitzer by Trumpeter. Good fit and details.

Very pretty... Very..

Wish I'd had some experience on the one-niner-eight, but my 155mm had tracks, roof, and a heater, so I got spoiled...  Wink

Would love to see yours with a crew and prime-mover... (Hint)

Very nice. I can totally understand the desire to build artillery Cool

As for the build, a couple of notes. The weapon is painted sand which at a minimum would be for ODS. The small wheels on the trails and the reel on the left trail were no longer used at that point. The staff sections on the inside of the trails, one side is ramming staffs the other is aiming posts.

Just the old artilleryman in me....but very nice build. By the way, I am liking you choice of subjects Yes

Rounds Complete!!
