This is a Zvesda kit, quite cheap and fits together quite well, minimal need for adjustment of parts. The tracks were semi rigid and separate link.

Sprayed this one with a base coat of Tamiya acrylic then a little dry brushing of Humbrol oil based silver and muddy tones. The dried on mud was achieved by the use of three different shades of oil pastels being held over the model and being finely scraped / sanded onto thinners that was applied by brush. The pastel then dissolves into the thinners and with a little mixing or dabbing you get the desired result. The driver isn't that good, mainly due to the fact that I need loads of practice painting these figures, I was making progress with them before I had a break but i need to get back to those...

Very nice. It's a T-72B, not just T-72. The sideskirts are very dirty, so the wheels should be even more. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Well, I did ponder the cleaner / dirtier wheel theory as I was building and decided that due to the wheels being in motion a lot of the time, it would not have had much time to settle, they would throw a lot of the crap and dirt off during movement..
