I haven't built them as I'm hung on Tamiya kits but the info others have listed is interesting. Thanks for posting the question and good luck on your kit, Joe

There 1/72 Tigers are the best braille scale on the market. They even mold the rear deck screens open! The detail is fantastic. I've got a few of their other 1/72, also. The Stug I have is a nice kit, but not quite up to the Tigers. I've also got their M4A1 Sherman. It looks okay in the box, but the detail looks soft compared to their newer stuff.
Sorry, but I've never gotten any of their 1/35 or wingy thingies.

There newer German armor kits in 1/72 are absolutlely superb in my opinon. There use of link and length track sections are such an improvment over rubber band track. I also think they are very well detailed for a braille scale model.

I like the kits I have built from RoG. Last year, I built the Marder1a3 and the Fuchs NBC vehicle. Those kits have very nice detail and look good when built up. My only complaint is the soft plastic that makes up the kit. It is far too easy to sand away small detail. I have two other kits by RoG and intend to build them this year. I will buy the Leopard 2a6ex when it is available.

I wonder if you have the same M60 I bought about 10 yrs ago with the armour packets all over it. The individual tracks ticked me off so bad i never built another peice of armour till this past year. I thought all armour had those tracks so i never bought another and just stuck to sci-fi and the occasional plane. That very same M-60 is in my parts box with treads and wheels removed awaiting a set of scratch built legs for a sci-fi diorama I had planed.lol Sure glad i cam back to armor now. Never new what i was missing. My Hobby Craft [trumpeter] M1A1 with mine rakes came with both one peice and multipart tracks.

I was less than impressed with the PzHbzt 2000. The detail was soft. I started sanding down everything to replace it with the Eduard photoetch, and then I got so burnt out I put it back on the shelf. Maybe later.
I don't fool around with the wingie thingies.

sorry but i have a bad experience with revell. i bought the Unimog 1:35, i don't like the diagrams from the instructions, it's like watching a silent movie. the parts are too brittle and some parts to be joined doesn't have pins so it's quite hard to align. thank God for this forum, i finished the model, all i need to do now is paint it.

The Revell of Germany M60A3 is the old (but still the best) Esci M60A3 kit. Italeri has recently reboxed the other two variants of the old Esci M60 series, the M60 Blazer and the M60A1. Esci M60 series came out in the late 1980s (88?) and were vastly superior to the Tamiya or Academy M60 series kits. No one paid too much attention the those kits at the time because Esci M1, M1A1, T-72 and T-74 tanks were real stinkers.

Revell of Germany tends to rebox mainly Italeri and some DML kits in 1:35 scale. They even reboxed the AFV Club M88A1 and included W.German specific fittings (this kit is outstanding BTW). The DML kits they packaged (that I know about) are the BRDM-3, BMP-1, T-72M1, M1A1 and some others that were mainly geared towards their home market (former East German variants). They also reboxed the GAZ-66 trucks that I think were initially Eastern Express kits.

Their original 1:35 scale kits tend to run from decent (Fuchs, Luchs) to excellent (MAN, PzHbzt2000). Their modern Marder 1A3 is also superior to Tamiya's versions.

Their early 1:72 scale kits are really the reboxed 1:76 scale Matchbox kits, but their later 1:72 scale kits are all new and are excellent kits. I highly recommend their newer 1:72 scale kits.

I have no experience with the aircraft kits.

I'm somewhat hesitant to try them, though. I've been badly burned by Revell Germany in the past, y'see.

Their smallscale armor is very good. Some of their kits are reissues from other manufacturers, so a little research is in order before I buy. However, they have issued some excellent 1/72 scale aircraft kits, the P-47M and P-47D, as well as their P-51 Mustang kits being examples. Hope this helps. Big Smile [:D]

Well the M-60 kit that I have is a 1/35 scale kit and so far the detailing is great.

Their latest (well almost anything since the mid-90s) kits are just superb. Their 1/72 AFV kits are probably the best around. However, be aware that Revell is known to re-issue kits from other manufacturers, so before buying a particular kit, always ask here first!
