Help with Stryker
Posted by atlrus on Sunday, July 1, 2012 4:26 PM

Hi guys,

I am working on a Stryker with a SMP. The instructions call for a Tamiya color which is no longer available. Could anyone give me a suggestion on a Tamiya color I could use that would come as close to the real thing? All I was able to find online are a bunch of grainy photos.

Would there be a color difference between the regular and the engineers' Stryker? I've seen photos of army Strykers with colors ranging from dark gray to dark green...

Plus, it sure would help if you wrote which color do you exactly mean. Usually that's no problem substituting some mix instead, you just have to know well what do you want to get. Good luck with your project, have a nice day

All Strykers are painted Forest Green.  Model Master Medium Green or Krylon Camo Colors Dark Olive spray paint work great.
