Hi Ernest

The suspension wheels were not that hard to assemble...really.  My most challenges were more about painting those little tools like the axes and the shovel, they only measure 3/16" long.  Plus installing the tow cable was a little difficult, because threads that size does not always stay in places you need it to go.   I had to glue it in 5 different positions, that's why it was being hold in place with a miniature clothes pins.

Ahhh, I thought you had taken a photo of a cricket next to your penny at first! Super work there, I can't even scratchbuild something in 1/35th so I'm knocked over by what you've done here. Truly amazing work!!!

And cool story about WoT, I play sometimes on and off but haven't much lately since I'm horrible at first-person-shooters. Still I've gotten more interested in some of the off-the-wall vehicles and prototypes in the game.

I almost read over the part saying scratchbuilt. Wow, very impressive work.

Very good work on that micro scale vehicle! I played WoT for awhile, but got burnt out because of the constant grinding to improve the vehicles.

I've decided to show off my latest built. This is my first tank model ever.
I've design it with the D39273 turret, (for a more modern look).
It is entirelly scratchbuilt, it's made of Polybak resin cardboard, and lasercut. (had to build 4 half finish models to update the design flaws). It can go on a flat car for Zscale trains, as seen below.

With it, I've participated in the latest World of Tanks contest. I was not in the last 13 finalist, but it was fun to see all the other tanks in this competition, and I think a few members in this forum had participated also. It was very controversial for a web competition though, but it was my first tank model contest, so I don't know if they're all like this.

The real funny part is that when I was a FSM subscriber, (was for quite a few years) I've never liked any tanks articles when the mag had them, I was just passing them without even looking. However, after starting to play the World of Tanks game, I became addicted to learning everything on tanks, names, types, countries that build them & their histories. I even went back to my old FSM mags to read all about what people had written about tanks, (still not finished). I can't explain why I never liked tanks in the past, but this situation has all changed with this tank game. I've even downloaded the tank viewing tool to have a better views of the tanks in the game. Also not counting visits to tanks museum from now on...Cool

So enought about the blabla, and here's my little critter.
