I too will be looking forward to this one. Agree with need for early PZ III's.

I'm really looking forward to this one! Early Pz. IIIs would also be welcome.

Ernest , your finishing a 2 year old project ? Now thats integrity ! I have some of those unfinished kits on the shelf and i cant seem to get interested in them . DML keeps upgrading their new releases and the older kits lose their appeal , for me anyway .
Looks like you have a good paint finish on this one already .
I hear you Dupes! I never thought they'd kit a Neubau and they do seem to be cycling through the various variants and pre-war items of different stuff so you never know! DML is smart in their strategy of refreshing their product lines so even though they are continuing with a healthy release schedule that doesn't always translate into a net increase in the variants offered.

True, Bill...but eventually Dragon is going to run out of things to kit. At their current pace of issues, I would think they'd have to get around to them eventually?
This means I can finally cancel that search for the Coree kit. Yay!

It's one that's going on my wish list for future acquisition...the only Ausf that I didn't pick up on the IV was the CH white-box Ausf B since there was very little different between it and the C, it didn't make it worth the extra $$s. The A on the other hand has several unique features that set it apart visually.
As for the early variants of the Pzkpfw III...anything's possible although those represent harder nuts to crack in terms of the new-tool moldings required for their suspensions and other different features.

dupes Wow, check that out! Can't wait! Ernest - I remember you starting that Coree A for the 1,000 Roadwheels GB...I hate to tell you, but it might have been more than 2 years ago. Maybe even more than 3!

Wouldn't you know it! I'm seriously thinking of finally finishing the Coree resin kit of of the Pz. IV Ausf. A which I started two years ago, and DML announces this new release!!

We had to know this was coming since they've released every version since the Ausf.E back in 2005! I am very happy that someone has finally come out with an injection molded plastic kit of this version! To my knowledge all previous releases have been all-resin kits or resin backdates for plastic kits. You've got to hand it to DML for being the first mfg to release EVERY major version of the ubiquitous Pz.IV series, including some rare variations, like the Ausf.D with the Ausf.H turret and various Tauchpanzer and Vorpanzer versions.
I've been somewhat blase about a lot DML's releases lately, but I'm definitely interested in getting this one, if only to see how it builds up compared to the Coree kit I bought on Ebay for nearly $100. It makes me want to finish this soon so I can have a reason to get the DML kit:
I wonder if they'll produce some of the earlier Pz.III versions, A-D...??? That would be uber sweet!!
