Tosca Sherman Interiors

Are there interior (driver, fighting and/or engine compartments) detail sets being made for the recent Tasca Sherman kits?

I've found CMK and Verlinden detail kits for Tamiya and Dragon but nothing for Tasca kits.

Thank you for any information.

I am currently building the Tasca Sherman II Direct Vision and it has no interior whatsoever.

Nice co-axial and hull mounted MGs are included but that's about it.

Cheers

There are no interior kits specifically for the Tasca kit.  The others should be able to be adapted to fit without too much trouble.  Just make sure you are getting the correct interior for the version of the M-4, there were interior differences between the variants.  Stay away from the Verlinden sets, they are inaccurate.

Verlinden is selling a M4A3 engine and compartment that's supposedly for the Tasca hull but I wouldn't count on it. I have the set but haven't had time to verify if it fits or not. As the others stated, I do not believe there is anything specifically for the tasca kit though with a little work most of the available sets probably could be made to work. I have a Verlinden hull/turret interior and two of the old Tank Workshop sets... all of them have good parts and bad parts and would require a LOT of work (sanding) to be of use. I am currently building an A3 of which none of those sets are applicable (they're all dry stowage sets)... so, i'm using bits and pieces that are common to wet and dry stowage plus quite a bit of scratch-building.

Resicast makes a Chrysler Multibank engine and motor compartment specifically designed for Tasca's M4A4 . Here is a link : www.missing-lynx.com/.../resicast35270reviewdcs_1.html

looks really nice. Good luck: )
