Ye, agreed, leave it be. The glass in cupole's will often be periscopes, so i think this is why people feel the ned to tint them. The drivers block is just a thick piece of glass.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

My opinion?  Leave it as is:  The gloss would exaggerate a 1/35 piece of glass' finish.  As to any blue tint -- the actual glass had none -- modellers feel compelled to add this to mimic the tint that sometimes appears at different angles.  For your driver's block, I'd leave it alone.

Hi lads  I am building a dragon tiger1 late production and my problem is the drivers view it has come with clear plastic as the glass ,my 1st question is  should i add a bit of gloss varnish to the outside to give that glass like finish,2nd question should i paint the back of it in that dark blue type colour like i would use on the cupola  on some other make of tank.

thanks for the help  paul
