Info needed about M2HB .50 cal machine gun
Posted by Zero Enna on Thursday, July 19, 2012 8:41 PM

I have a little project, and for that I need the M2HB's dimmensions, i could find only overall length and barrel lenght, but that's not enough, I need dimmensions for the "box-like" body of the machine gun:

I guess both of these have the same dimmensions:

I guess, these are not to scale to each other. My project is about the tank-mounted. Any help or additional info will be appreciated. Best regards.

José.

Ok, I have not been intimate with Ma Deuce since old Ronnie was preident. But I do still have good recall of her. When you refer to boxlike portion, are you referring to the area behind the open top where the feed tray and cover goes?

Mobile here, can't edit a post.
Or are you referring to the whole receiver assembly seperate from the barrel?

It sounds like you are referring to the receiver group if so the FLEX (bottom one in your post) is the one you want for your armored vehicle that is if you want it mounted on the outside of the vehicle.  There are many variants of the M2HB .50 but the receivers are the same on all of them.  The barrel support and back plate are the main components changed depending on its intended use and what it is mounted on or in.

Do you need exact measurements?  If you go to google and type in "M2HB RECEIVER BLUEPRINTS" there are plenty of downloads that come up that look like they would work for you.  I do not have measurements here but if there is a specific measurement you want, I can measure one out at work for you in the next couple of days.

Let me know
