I have airbrushed the camo. As of posting this I have painted green/brown dots on the light brown sections and applied future in preparation for the decals.

Your Panther looks like she's coming along nicely modeler#, keep the updates coming.  Also what are the bits of masking tape on the hull for?

Bill would the grey lacquer primer on the barrel extend to the muzzle brake or would that have been a separate item?

Cheers

Looks like a fun project! If you're interested in the accuracy of leaving the barrel in a primer color, the barrels were primed with a dark gray (almost black) heat-resistant lacquer primer and not the standard red oxide primer used on the hulls. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one. Beer

Looks like a panther so far. Kind of unusual to leave the barrel primer red ,guess I may have seen them in black primer. More pics please.

due to the interest of the original post "1945 german camo schemes" i have decided to display my progress.

night vision sights left:gunner  right:driver

here is the turret right before painting in red oxide primer you may have noticed the barrel has been masked off and that is because i intend to keep it red

wheels...

hope you enjoy
