Arg! Always something to change.

Thanks for the help, the instructions were a bit unclear as to some of these things, although I suppose I could've done more research. I suppose the lesson here is always check your work.

I think I'm going to keep it how it is for the most part and do what little I can to fix some of the issues, but I'll keep this all in mind for my next build. Again thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for posting your work!

Shermans are a favorite of mine so I know tons of detials.  If I may, here are some items I see on your build

1) the DML kit poorly portrays the turret pistol port.  Its lip should be smoothed into the turret wall.  See here:

Also remove that "handle" you placed on the pistol port's face.

2) the added side hull armor was prescribed in very exact spots (to protect ammo bins behind them).  The two plates you have on the right hull side are each too far back. www.toadmanstankpictures.com/sherman_v_m4a4_01.jpg

3) your added plate in front of the asst driver's position has a nasty gap that would be an extreme vulnerable spot.  It should look like this: www.toadmanstankpictures.com/firefly_38.jpg

4) the bolt strip between the transmission cover and the glacis plate should look like this: www.toadmanstankpictures.com/m4a4t_38.jpg

I wouldn't suggest you alter these things in your current build.  Go ahead and finish it.  However, the tons of features of a well known vehicle like the Sherman abound in online photo collections.  Feel free to ask if a part or a kit seems weird or strange to you.  Best of luck

My M4A4 Sherman "Invincible II" by Dragon, I'm also aware of the track gap, the Dragon individual tracks kicked my ass, so I stole some for an Academy tank, the final product will be in a diorama and the tracks will be covered up.
