Hey all is there a FS cross to "olive drab #51"?  That's the color call out for my Bronco Staghound.

Olive Drab 41 was an AAC/AAF color. Olive Drab 9 was the shade used on AFVs.  Shade 319 was supposedly based off of  OD 9. I like using the Model Master version of that color.

Just b/c some company's instructions say so, don't take it to be gospel.  Staghounds were painted basic US equipment OD.  My favorite mix for 1/35 kits is Tamiya XF-62 cut with Tamiya XF-60 Dark Yellow.

Thanks for the tip.  The Bronco instructions don't call out any particular paint manufacturer.  The pics (I'm doing the exact same kit as what's pictured at the top of the FSM header) I've seen just appear a bit darker.  I'll roll forward with the Tamiya suggestion.  Thanks!

Sound slike a good option. No idea where they have got the 51 from then. Sounds like they plucked it from thin air.
