DML addressed and corrected the suspension inaccuracies, and posted a new cad drawing on the website
My compliments to DML, Placing my pre order now :D
The world's largest Hetzer ! ....How would they ever ship these over seas where they needed to be ?
It's a nice kit and long overdue in plastic, but it looks like they have an error on the suspension. The real T28's HVSS suspension was not the same as the shermans. The T28 HVSS bogie didn't have the top shock absorber like the sherman. Instead the suspension swing arms connected to large columns that were bolted in between the bogies. These columns were on both sides of the tank (they emerged from the Hull and from the side skirts) Besides aiding in the suspension These columns would interlock and would give structural support for the side hull / skirts.I have the accurate armour kit, and this detail was done by them. Also when I was working on my 1/6th scale model I found lots of resources about the modified HVSS suspension. Hopefully this CAD image is just a quick sneak peek and the actual kit release will have this fixed. Either way I will get one, Maybe they will do the Troyanov next??
Nothing like having a massive beast like this get its due in styrene!

put me down for one of those
Now that's a beautiful thing!!! Between it and the Meng Tortoise that's some of the coolest modeling news in sometime. I'll certainly be picking up one of each of those, though I'll probably wait a year or two till I can get them on a sale.
I can just see a cool WW'46-47 diorama with them!
YUP i'll get it. whats funny i have pic's of the real thing from patton tank M.
Clay
It'll definitely be one for me to buy. Too bad the actual one isn't near my home any longer.

A cousin for the Meng Tortoise release! Line those two up on one side and some of the Super Heavy 1946 Paper panzers on the other side! Vroom vroom!
