There is so much written about this tank, I don't know where to personally begin with ?..
http://www.achtungpanzer.com/ You could start there, it's general info , but it has links...Amazon .com has tons of books....http://www.alanhamby.com/tiger.html..( also has links )..the second link is Tiger I specific...just google there is tons of stuff out there... Jentz and Doyle D.W. to TIGER I : DESIGN,PRODUCTION & MODIFICATIONS..Osprey books ...Modeling the Tiger I.... You could try the AXIS forum on Missing Lynks...the Engine was a Maybach HL 210 and was dark grey in color.. you can google that. ... One of the best places to get info on the Tiger I is Bovington Tank Museum, they have a completely correct restored to running condition Tiger I that is famous... I have a whole book just on that one..it is called ' Tiger Tank Owners' workshop Manual ....Very up to date with a lot of color pictures that are the correct color !.The tranny was designed by Olvar-Getriebe....many of the drive train components were in oxide red primer....
