No.  Few, if any, resin figure sets come w/painting instructions. They figure if you're investing in resin figs, you're pretty serious and already have some good references. That being said, what are you looking to buy?  Tons of knowledge out here.

When the time comes it will be WW2 figures and Iraq/Afghanistan war figures.  I'll give a shout out when I'm ready.  Thanks for the reply.  I really do appreciate it.

Most of the time I get color ideas from the picture in thier packaging but best is for you to research.

To the above. I also use the box art as a guide, but for the figuers i mainly build, i try and get colour images and work out which are the best colours to use.

Be careful because the box-art isn't always correct---especially when it comes to Verlinden and German camo patterns/colors...

Even more so before you plunk down your dollars for Verlinden figs.  Examine them carefully.  Their quality is hit and miss. Sometimes very awkward poses, often very big (almost 1/32 in scale) from their older figs.  There are many resin makers of figs.  I think Verlinden would not be in the top half as far as sculpting quality.  My opinion only.

Warriors, Hornet, Ultracast, Resicast, and Alpine all make some great figures in 1/35

If I may point out many of the newer injection mold figures are pretty darn close to the lower end resin figures these days. Dragon, MiniArt, Masterbox, and some of the Zvesda stuff is huge step up from the old '70s issue Tamiya ones. And they're much cheaper to build up experience before tackling expensive resin figures.

Deffinatly agree on that one, and they are a lot easier to alter to get different posers. And a lot of the resin figures i have, Verlinden, come with the equipment fitted. The injection ones don't so that also gives you great options for kit to be carried.

IMO, Alpine makes the best resin figs on the market, but their range is limited...

Yes, Alpine are great figures, but many look like old men, not younger soldiers. Some of the new generation Dragon figures are very good and relatively inexpensive.

I've gotten many of the Tank Models figures.  IMHO, their sculptor has a great appreciation for the natural drape of human antaomy.  This leaning figure is one of my favorites
