This is very helpful - I should be all set for the wiring the radio.  Thanks so much.  While Andy's photos do show Part B32 towards the rear of the rails, photos of other Dragon Marder II builds as well as photos of actual Pak 40s do not show this. Looking at these photos still makes me think that B32 attaches to the underside of the breech block.  i think that is the way I am going to build it.

I have this kit in my huge stash of 5 kits. Looking at the instructions, the light blue B3 (two B sprues) looks like the left side of the breach block and the whole block can be positioned open or closed. B38 looks like it sits on the bottom of the gun rails and B32 is the rear part of this rail, joining together B28 and B29.

This instructions are a freaking nightmare to read, too much going on in each step.

Here is a link to Andy deafpanzer's Marder II and he has a photo of this radio 8 photos down. Bill Plunk sent him a diagraph.

He also has a photo of the gun rails and you can see part B32 towards the rear of the rails.

Here is a website with a photo that sells this radio: www.tigermodels.com/.../Details.php

Good luck with this kit, it scares me too much to start.

Dragon Marder II Pak 40 question
Posted by Colnago on Thursday, September 20, 2012 7:52 PM

I am building the Dragon Marder II with Pak40/2. Nice kit, terrible instructions.  I was hoping someone could tell me about parts B3/B38/B32.  What is the assembled part?  Is it intended to slide back and forth or be fixed in one position?  Is the top of part B32 supposed to be attached to the underside of the breech block?

Also, if someone could direct me to a link that shows a wiring diagram for the FuG 5 radio, I would greatly appreciate the help.
