Both should be for fuel. The original Stuarts were powered by air-cooled radial engines (aircraft type) until the war kicked in and the radials were needed for airplanes.

Does anyone know where to find side, front, rear, top views with labels for an M3A1 Stuart? I'm trying to identify things on the rear deck particularly the filler caps. Are they both fuel fillers, or maybe one is for water or engine oil? I just don't know. Thanks for any help
