Opinion: Tamiya PZ 35(T)?

Try Google > Images > Afrika Korps or something similar and see if you kick up any images.

Appreciate all the info. Bought the DML Panzerjager I - it will do the job nicely. I may leave the CMK for another day. I doubt Tamiya would rebox a bad kit (sure hope not - I've got their Stuka via Italeri) but they're asking real dollars for that kit. And the stash is more than ample.

I can't really answer if any 35(t)s  were in Africa without looking at my refs.  However, I do recall the challenge of buiding the CMK platform.  A lot of TLC was required, and patience, but nothing that can't be done.  

Here is my tread of a conversion for Artillerie Schlepper I made using a CMK TACAM.  If Tamiya used the same platform, it will give you an idea of what lays ahead...

The Pz 35t was used up to Barbarossa (4th Panzer Group). The 6th Panzer Division used them during the Battle of France. These were then sold off to Axis allies or retired. Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania used the Pz35t later than the Germans.

It and the Pz38t weren't seen in North Africa. Although some Marders using the chassis of the Pz38t were used in North Africa.

I know Panzerjager I's were to Africa however I'm pretty sure Pz35's and 38's weren't.
