I have Garors Grip and have used it on PE before, it does work on certain parts. I just have never build any PS mudguards but I'll give it a try this week.

When PEs are involved, joining it to other parts will require CA but when attaching it to other PE parts you can either solder them or cement them with CA. I personally  I use CA because it is easier to handle than using a soldering gun specially on tiny parts.

The simple answer is it depends...both can do the job. It all comes down to three factors: 1) the design of the PE in terms of number of parts, assembly, and bends/joins 2) the attachment points for the mudflaps to the actual vehicle and 3) how durable/fragile they are. This of course assumes that you are equally comfortable with CA and soldering...if that's not the case then that becomes factor #4. Smile

Question on PE mudguards

When you all are building PE mudguards or mudflips for your tanks do you use suoer gule or do you solder them?

I've never tried to build PE mudflips, just used the ones in the kit so I was wondering.
