would you believe Clay what happened, after checking with the post office and learned that the package was already released, we (together with one of our neighborhood watchmen) found the package several houses away, in some other person's  mailbox, funny isn't it.   Thanks again Clay,  I'll post the pictures as soon as I finish repairing that overdued unit.

tools.usps.com/.../TrackConfirmAction_input

input the number vonryan gave you and it will tell you where your package is and probably when it might get there.

Thanks for the info.  When I packed my modelling tools and units ten years ago, I never thought that one day I would unpack them again,  the rush when I opened that box again is unexplainable.

Thanks Clay, You are a lifesaver,  but how can we ship them here in Canada?  I am willing to pay for the postage.  Finally there is hope to finish this long ovedued unit.

If it was made in 1986, it's likely the old Tamiya Panther A kit.  Less likely the Nichimo one.  May I suggest you put in a request at both these sites?

www.track-link.net/.../classifieds_private

I'm sure you'll get replies.  If I may, please use the old Panther as a entry model.  If you go and acquire a modern-tooled kit, you'll simply be amazed at the difference btwn something crafted in the 80s and in 2010.  The gulf btwn the two is epic.  Welcome back!

missing panther v road wheels
Posted by tankboy66 on Thursday, October 11, 2012 2:20 AM

I just returned to modelling after a decade, my very first project is a panther v 1:35 scale that was handed down to me by a good friend back in '86, after moving from place to place over the years, and finally here in Canada, the unit was a wreck and one tandem road wheel was missing.

Can anybody help me on where to get this part or atleast some info about where to buy some after market parts?

thanks.
