A couple questions about 1/35 Tamiya Tiger Early w/ Aber PE and barrel included...
Posted by SMJmodeler on Friday, October 12, 2012 8:26 AM

Guys:

#1: I'm considering buying this kit but it appears that NONE of the fenders (back, front or  sides) or the exhaust shrouds are included in the PE set.  Can anyone definitely confirm this?

AND...

#2:  If that is the case, would I be able to use the Tiger I Mid PE front & rear fenders & exhaust shrouds? (which I didn't use on my current project)

Thanks for the help.

Steve,I have this for Steel Cats,no fenders or shrouds included.

They give you the grills,a great Aber barrel, and a lot of small PE

Can't help with your kit questions SMJ....

But as it's been long time no see, I wanted to shout out to you and say hello. Still in the architecture field I assume, hope business is good and the projects are keeping you busy.

Tojo72: Thanks for the visual confirmation.  I'll be following your build over in Steel Cats.

mg.mikael:  Thanks for checking in...I was wondering if you were still out there.  Anything on your workbench?  Are you in the Steel Cats GB?  If not go check it out...there's PLENTY of time left!

I assume you've graduated college by now, correct?  Are you going for a license?

Yep, I'm still in architecture...having my best year since moving to New York!

Hey SMJ,

Not much model building occuring right now, I have a 4x4 Horch and a aircraft I'm scratch-building on the bench but those have been there for nearly a year. No time to build so just a little bit here and there.

As for college I'm close to graduating, I'll have my bachelors in architecture this upcoming spring. I'm also in the middle of getting my application together for getting into graduate school, since I'm going for my masters so I can get licensed as soon as possible. Though I'm still in the job hunt for an elusive internship....not much luck there.

Good to hear business is great in New York.
