Dragon 1/6 Panzer II Questions
Posted by Bigb123 on Friday, October 12, 2012 11:08 AM

Hello,

Are there any decals or transfers out there for this tank kit?  If so, who makes them and/or sells them?

Also, I'd like to get some 1/6 road signs to make a diorama to go with it, so I ask the same question as the decals..who makes/sells them?

thanks!!

Can't really help you much here in this department, 1/6 scale is not something that typically comes up often for discussion because of its size and different niche in terms of action figures and such. You might try a forum geared towards that or do a search with that included to turn up more results? I'm not trying to dismiss your question by any means, it's just something that's not often encountered here.

As far as I know there are no dry transfers available in this scale. A supplier who went by the name "John's stuff" offered a variety of water slide decals in this scale, but he closed up shop a few years ago. His decals come back on the market from time to time, but this information could be found on a 1/6th scale community like sixtharmygroup.

Another marking option that is available are Photo etch stencils. They are available from a UK based company called armorpax. The following link will take you to his page.  www.armorpax.com/.../WWII%20Stencil%20Sets.htm

Thanks to both of you for your help!!  And, armourguy, love the big Tiger !!  Scratchbuilding..something i could never do, especially as well as you have and are doing!  That's why I went with Dragon's panzer..I wanted a big tank and they had one in kit form.

And, anyone else, I'm stil open to any other suggestions!
