Hi chaps,

I ordered the Elefant in the end - very nice it looks too. I'll be building it this side of Christmas as soon as my Tiger got Tigerman's GB is complete.

I'll be ordering that L/70 asap too Whistling

I don't know a thing about either kit, but from the photos, i'd choose the Elefant - looks nice and menacing.

PS: Happy Birthday!

Hope you post some pics of the sprues once you get your new kit.

I have this kit in the stash but not built.  Talking about the Elefant.   Looking through it, looks to be very nice.  My only complaint would be the DS tracks.  I will be looking to replace them.  I can take some pics of the sprues if you like.

Cheers guys,

Both nice looking kits ain't they?

I think I'm going to go with the Elefant - it's a pricey kit compared to some but it's like nothing else in my cabinet and looks like a darn good kit!

I've got a Panzer IV G coming up as my next build (I'll probably build this Elefant next though now) so I think keeping the build very varied is important. I have that L/70 on my list though - the Schurzen look sweet!

I've been wanting both of them but I would go with the Elefant, some nice PE looks like tool clamps too, the zim is already molded on and its a Dragon can't go wrong I would just change the tracks out for some nice indy or metal. By the way I took your advice and bought some fruils for my next build there awsome just like you said

Cheers for the input guys,

I know this is quite a new kit so I'm not sure if anyone has experience of it yet but it sure looks sweet!

I'd be tempted to step out of your comfort zone a bit and try something you wouldn't normally go for. Don't know what you've build so far but what about the new Dragon Priest or one of the AFV Strykers

It's a very nice kit Ben,I would recommend it for sure, metal barrel, and some PE,it builds up real nice, but I know you won't be satisfied with the DS tracks and will have to by Fruils also.

Hi guys,

It's my birthday in a couple of weeks and I've been asked by my parents what I would like Yes Obviously a Dragon kit came straight to mind.

I'm quite taken by the Elefant (see link). Can anyone provide guidance in a choice - is this a good kit?

I have £50 to spend!

Cheers fellas,
