I've built at least 15 PST kits and have three more on the workbench. I've found that the molding is generally clean and well detailed. I am building the same kit you mentioned and it is going together very well for me.

As others have mentioned, be careful of the soft plastic, and the thick attachments of parts to the sprue. Some cleanup is necessary, but for the most part the kits go to gether very well. I love building them, but then, after building ACE kits, PST is a breeze! Evil [}:)]Wink [;)]

Good luck on your kit. I'll try to post some pics of my D1 Howitzer when I get over more of this flu. Right now, the flu is winning my fight to defeat it, so I'm not able to visit as much as I want. Black Eye [B)] I still have a third 'factory tour' to post! Maybe in a day or so when I feel better...Dead [xx(]

I built PST's towed 37mm A.A. gun (I mounted it on a ship) I thought it was a ok little kit. For gunsights I used a waldron 1/32 aircraft insturment bezel (PE) with a couple of my cat's hairs glued on for cross hairs. Actually whisker hairs I found on the floor near my workbench, I wasen't dumb enough to try and yank a few out. PST is ok, it goes togeather pretty quick, some clean-up, no big deal. Neat subjects too. G.L.

I built the KV-2. The hull was very nice with good detail. The roadwheels were poorly molded, and the tracks needed a lot of work. The attachment points to the sprues were pretty thick which caused me quite a lot of clean-up. Labor of love is the best way to put it, I guess. Good Luck.

I posted regarding these kits about a month ago. I picked up one and it was really nice so I won 3 others on eBay from Alanger. Their ad is usually above the posts on the page.

Braille scale from PST?

I posted on this in the Towed Gun group build, but let me bring it to the whole group --

For a goof I'm going to try to do a quickie build in 1/72nd for the Towed Gun group over the upcoming weekend. It'll be a Russian half-track (!), the ZIS-42, and a 152mm gun, the superb Russian D-1 howitzer.

I have the ZIS-42 and the D-1, both packaged in one box, from PST.

Anyone here built any braille scale PST stuff? Any comments/warnings/congratulations? I've never built a kit manufactured in Belarus before. Wink [;)]
