During the mid war period, lots of the camo was done at the unit level.  Therefore the variations were innumerable.  Later in the war, many factories applied camo.

Advice for you is to just peruse many photos and choose the ones that grab you.

German armor camouflage listings

Hi all,

I have gained an interest in the many german camo schemes used during ww2. I am trying to use as many different types as possible in my dio collection. I have searched the web and have found sites that are simplified and/or only have common tri-color, ambush, etc. Does anyone know of a good site that gets into the details of the more less seen types such as disc camo, green stripe, etc..

Cheers
