PANZER-IV
Posted by tankerbuilder on Saturday, November 3, 2012 10:33 AM

Well, now here,s a very well done article that even I, a builder of few armor pieces can understand.Would that all who write these articles, regardless of subject do so in such a clear and concise manor.

I like the idea of the pictures guiding us along too.I only wish I could get the photo thing down right. I now have to do it direct from here and it,s not working well. anyway, another reason why I shall continue to get FSM.Even the articles on stuff I don,t normally do are getting better and better.

My hat is off to BILL PLUNK for writing it and FSM for bringing it to us.    TANKER-builder

Thanks Tanker, it's my pleasure to do the write-ups for my builds and the fine folks at FSM do an excellent job in the editing and selection department to put the articles in print. Beer

A great article Bill. I know we get used to praiseing your work, but it really is first rate. And without trying to sound like a sycophant, its guys like you that really make this hobby a pleasure. You guys are always there with help and advice, whether it be to a new modeller or someone like myself who has been at it years.

And lets hope that if nothing else, the article brings more attention to the two tone German scheme used in France. I know i am converted.

Which write-up was this? Itry and follow all of Bills FSM work and the stuff on his excellent website, bpmodels too as he seems to favour my taste in kits. That site has helped me sooo much!

Thanks Bish! I appreciate the comments and also hope that it will bring more awareness to the 2-tone scheme and bring on more converts. Wink As for passing on tips and such, I'm a big believer in 'paying-it-forward' since that's how I learned (and continue to learn) and explore new things in the hobby all the time. This forum was very helpful to me when I first started building armor in 2002 and the least I can do is return the favor whenever possible. Beer

Congrats again Bill. due to my heavy work schedule, I've been unable to read the article yet, but no doubt it will be worth the read.
