Thanks rob, another Gentleman on this site warned me about the tracks, after a little research  I learned they are also incorrect  ,too wide. Regarding the roden armored car ,I opened it last night and gave the sprues a rinse. Lots of very small parts .this is my first roden kit and the plastic seems different somehow, softer? I dunno. I'll give you an update when I know more

Don't ever underestimate yourself, just take your time and if you have any questions through your build just ask.  Are you going to do a WIP of your build, sure would like to see it.  You had also asked about the barrel, I went simple and just replaced with a Styrene tube.  The two half's of the kit barrel just would not line up leaving a terrible seam.  Some of the other guys have already said that there are problems with the kit which I agree.  There are fit issues leaving many gaps so be prepared to do some filling and sanding.  I had used Squadron White putty to fill with and lots of careful sanding as to not remove any of the details.  So once again just take your time.  Look forward to seeing her built.

The Roden armored car has been on my want list for some time now.  How does the kit appear to be?  Will get it one day.  Would be another I would like to see when you finish it.

One last think about the MK IV, the tracks are about useless.  If their was only one thing about these kits I could replace it would be the tracks.  I had used Panzer Traks for a replacement.

Raualduke, I'm not an expert on WW I tanks, but I had a go with Emhar's MK V Hermaphrodite, built as a Male:

http://www.ipmshawaii.0catch.com/Newsletters/Nov-08-%20Newsletter.pdf

The file for Part I is appraently damaged, but Part II covers the most important upgrade, the tracks.  The rest of the kit is more or less useable, althoguh the cannon barrels are very out of round.  A puch set is useful to replace any rivets lost to sanding.  The kit looks like a POS in the box, but new tracks and a coat of paint do wonders to make up for it.

If any armor kit manufacturers are reading this, WW I tanks are wide open for the taking!  Personally, I'd like a St Chamond.

This website is a great resource for WWI subjects, you may find it useful when it comes time to paint.

I have built their Whippet tank and I have the mk.V in the stash and I strongly recommend getting a set of the Model Cellar tracks for yours as the kit tracks are just about unusable.   The Model Cellar tracks are very easy to assemble and look so much better than the stiff planks that come in the box as tracks.

The decals for my Whippet were old, thick and yellow but there's not much to them that can't be done with patience and paint.

Emhar kits have been around for a while so you shouldn't expect it to be up to modern standards. Having said that, it's the only real game in town for now for WWI armor and can be built up into a stunning piece with a little skill and patience.
