Dan, Great Job Indeed.. I posted some more in the Sherman GB forum...(questions)

Again Beautiful work.. subtle weathering. The Isherman is quite possibly the end all beat all billy bad arse example of what can be made out of a Sherman... I have loved the Isherman since seing it MANY years ago in Shep Paine's book...

I've always wanted to build one of these, and seeing this excellent example just reinforces that. Perhaps my favorite version of the Sherman. Great work!
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

Again, a beautiful build!

I have a Q about Israeli Shermans:

I thought the M-50 (welded hull, early turret, long 76mm gun) was the "Super Sherman," and the M-51 (cast hull, T23 turret, loooong 105mm gun) was the "ISherman."

Which is which?
A quick internet search revealed either name attached to either designation. Were those official names, or just nicknames interchangeably given to either vehicle?
Help!

Interesting question Brian .... I've read somewhere that the true Super Sherman is actually nothing more than the late W.W.II 76mm Shermans that the Israelis recieved in the late 40's - early 50's. And that the M-50 and M-51 are both Ishermans.
This should start a bit of a debate. Wink [;)]
