Centurion Mantlet
Posted by constructor on Monday, November 19, 2012 4:25 PM

I have started the build on my AFV Club Centurion "Shot" and I got their turret mantlet which feels like rubber. I'm just asking, will it stick with styrene cement?

Nope.  You need to glue it with CA glue (Super Glue).  Also, it will not take paint as-is.  Coat it with PVA glue (Elmer's School glue) first and let dry fully.  Now it will take whatever paint you use on it just as if it is plastic.

CA worked1 I just had stretch the mantlet because it is a little short. Looks good though.
