                        Since you are an acrylic fan, use Tamiya NATO Green. It is the closest color and after weathering you will be just fine.

                        Yes, I can confirm that all operational Strykers are Forest Green.  There were a couple painted sand as a test in Kuwait, but they were not accepted in sand by the US Army and were subsequently repainted Forest Green.

                        Aaron,

                        First....welcome back! Welcome Sign AFAIK, the Strykers are only delivered in CARC-green.  Give Forest green a try in the Model Master (sku#1714) range if you don't mind enamels - mix 3 parts paint - 1 part thinner for a flat finish.

                        If you're set on acrylics, NATO green would probably be best - either Tamiya (XF-67) or MM/ACRYL.

                        I have recently started modeling again after a 25 year absence. I bought an AVF M1126 Stryker and would like to paint it in US desert colors, but do not know where to begin to find the color numbers. Also, I would like to use acrylic paints, but am not set on this. What brands are good for airbrushing through a Revolution brush?

                        On another note does anyone know anyone that is a member of the Garrett, IN Walker Mahurin club and do you have an e-mail or phone contact number?
