please help? 1:35 modern US radio sets?
Posted by ctfw529 on Saturday, December 15, 2012 12:06 PM

hi everyone, i'm looking for 1:35 modern US radio sets. i'm working on 2 MRAP kits, the buffalo & the m-atv, and they have gorgeous radio racks, but no radio sets for them. (that i can see in the pics, i don't have the kits yet, they're in the mail)

i would like to get the Blast Models kits (BL35181K) but i can't seem to find them anywhere, including Blasts' own website. does anyone know of a different site that might have these, or a different set altogether.

thank you so much for any and all input.   :-)

There's a couple of sets by Pro Art Models which you may find interesting.

If you're not averse to ordering online from overseas, LuckyModel have both sets in stock http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?search=Y&q_brand=PAU&q_category=&q_scale=35&q_word=radio&q_show_instock_only=N

Blast has a set made especially for the M-ATV that would also apply to the Buffalo.

Thank you both for your replies.

Phil, both of those sets will definitely work, especially that 2nd set is out of this world with the sincgars system, laptop, blue force tracker system, those antennas are gorgeous, not to mention all the smaller a bits as well. Definitely not averse to ordering overseas & Lucky and hobbyeasy are my go to overseas sites. Hobbyeasy has some pricing that simply cannot be beat as well. For example, I ordered a PE set for the Buffalo made by Lion Roar that was around $65 on most sites, but I found it on hobbyeasy for $24, this set also includes the slat armor for the buffalo, the pricing blew me away. If you haven't tried them yet, check them out, I've ordered quite a few things from them & never had any problems.

Thank you as well HeavyArty, that Blast set was the original one I was looking for but could not find it anywhere, even Blasts' own website has it shown as unavailable.

Anyway, thanks again, both of you.
