U.N. Bradley in progress Pics
Posted by MartianGundamModeler on Saturday, February 14, 2004 12:29 AM
I hope this works using my Yahoo photo album. i've gotten this to work before but I can't remember how I got to work!LOL
Well any way these are the pics of the current Bradley i'm working on. I apologize in advancxe for teh quality because I had to use my web cam!
I'll have to add another pic of the front because I did it at home and saved it to disk to download from work. The pic of the front had an error. I'll ad it tomorrow...

[Note that the drive wheel is about 1/2" too far back exposing the "hollow" which I will cover later with thin plastic sheet.]

I have started the wash but I have stopped for now to paint in the the details like the lights, pioneer gear, "windows", and to add the decals. After which I will continue the weathering. The tracks have received a coat of metallic grey and await wash and weather.

Okay I'll try that! The breifcase site said that you can only post publicly for a fee. I modified my link to the folder and edited my previous post. Hope this works.

Why a white Bradley?? US does not paint our vehicles white when under UN operations. US vehicles are left in standard three-color NATO cammo and have UN markings added. See some photos from either Bosnia or Kosovo Ops for more referances.

Yes I know. This is a what if. I don't care much for camo I hate to mask. Since there are some UN M113's I figured it was time for a Bradley. Got the idea when I stumbled upon some UN hummers in white [which should not exist but apparently do]. Sooooo, why not a Bradley. I like using the U.N. scheme because I can use vehicles from all over the world. I already built the Tamiya Bradley in in modern dark green. Everything is cammo or desert. Felt it was time for a change!lol

Already got me some Tamiya modern troops and I just won two sets of DML figs on e-bay yesterday! One set is marines and the other is a light infantry set which comes with the recon dirt bike! I think I'll have the dirt bike coming out of the rear of the Bradley just for fun! This lot of figs also included two sets of Tamiya WWII figs in various poses that I can use for my other kits! Can't wait till they come!
