Hi guys,
Has anyone ever tried making a shade of DY from Vallejo Model Air? (see photo below)
I've recently started using Vallejo Model Colour and Panzer Aces for my brush work and the Superb Model Air for a lot of my air brush work.
I'm happy with the shades I've got for German Grey, Rotbraun & Olivgrun etc but am unsure about their Dunky.
I placed an order the other day for some and bought a box set of 10 odd colours for WWII AFV cammo and bough a few extra bottles with the idea of making some Dunky.
I currently use Tamiya XF-55 (Deck Tan) mixed 50/50 with XF-60 (Dark Yellow) and it's a killer colour BUT I'd like to try a different shade.
I bought some Model Air 'Sand Yellow' and 'Sand' to hopefully add to the Model Air Dark Yellow to make a good shade, I'm thinking the Sand and the standard Dunky mixed properly could work well.
Thanks guys,
Ben
