I'm no expert by any means. I will say that as you make progress you'll look back critically at your earlier work and see how much you've improved. As long as you're doing that you're making progress. Good work!

Thank you the last one is my first conversion kit. I am considering doing a diorama with my Dragon Totenkopf figures.

Pretty good stuff. I'm happy to see the younger generation continuing the great hobby.

I'm much older then you and believe me when I say that I'm still learning new techniques and trying to improve accuracy. The important thing to remember is to have fun. Sometimes accuracy has to take a back road to having fun with the build.

One thing that stands out to me is the blackened muzzles. I too thought that was accurate and realized from the forum that it was more of an "artistic license". There are such others as well. Join the fun and learn as you go. Most importantly, ask questions!

Some nice looking builds there. Deffinatly better than what i was doing at 15. And like eric says, don't matter how old you are or how long you have ben modelling, theres always room to learn. I've been doing armour over 20 years, and i am stil picking up new ideas.

I am really curious about the 251 and your intentions for it.

Thanks for posting!  I always suggest "Modeling Realistic Tanks and Artillery" by Mike Ashley.  Very good basic pointers for building and painting well.   Available at most hobby stores -- at Amazon for about $13.

Thx for the kind words that was my first conversion kit. I used the Tamiya 251 and the pak 40.

looks really good and like the other guys have said it doesn't matter how long you have been in the hobby you will always improve your skills with every model you will learn

For ground work I suggest using a produck called  Liquitex Basic  acrylic gesso. It is paste like and can be worked over a few hours. You can add color to it so you don't have to worry about painting it later. It does dry hard, so you might have to drill small hole to add vegetation to it. There are lots of other ground material out there, but I like this one best. Dioramas are a lot of fun to build so I encourage you to give it a try soon.

The idea of a small diorama or a base to your model is a good one; it gives a "context" or short story of your model to help your audience to enjoy your work.

Post more of your builds as you get to 'em, it is good to see a fellow modelers work
