Try Uncle Bill's in Calgary or BC Shaver in Victoria - great customer service and good deals on shipping.

Thanks for the direction. The shops around here don't carry Dragon and will not order from them, again, for some unknown reason. I did find one store in B.C. that does carry the M7, but his shipping prices are the same as the cost of the kit, insane. And I found one M7 on Ebay. The selection for Ebay Canada sucks...oh well. But thank you again for the help :-)

It's not what you think you do that counts, it's what you do that counts when you think . . . I think?

Yes, there does seem to be some 'warehouse' type Canadian webstores, though they are not as well advertised like Squadron, SprueBrothers or Hannants for example.   Another one I have found is in Montreal, Udisco.    True, ordering from Canada will negate the tariff issue, but you likely will pay either a provincial or federal tax, based usually, on an even higher priced kit.

I'd suggest to shop and compare. Check the prices/availability of the Asian webstores LuckyModel.com and HobbyEasy.com -note, only order if the item is listed as in stock!  These two both provide an option to declare a lower value on shipped items so can avoid the tariff cost.

regards,

Jack

Hey guy, I offer my Friends Hobby Shop that mainly deals with Mail order. Check out Elm City Hobbies in Fredericton ,N.B. The guys name is Scott and if it is available he will get it for you. Also check out the back of Finescale Modelling Magazine. They list places in Canada to order Models from.

Cheers Cedric

Suggestion 1- ask the shops if they will order those kits for you.
Suggestion 2- look for an online hobby shop in Canada to order those kits from. I am sure there has to be at least one of those in the great white north
Suggestion 3- check ebay. I know that there are several well stocked sellers on there in Canada, and I know you can tailor your searches for seller location on any item.

Having trouble finding 2 specific tank kits...

I live close to Edmonton Alberta, Canada and apparently our hobby shops around here no longer carry Dragon brand kits anymore. All in all most of the hobby shops around here only want to carry R/C stuff or scrapbooking things. I have no idea why this is, but that is beside the point. I am currently looking for the M7 Priest and the IS-2 Heavy Russian tank. I would really like to find it in Canada if at all possible, due to shipping and duties etc, but it seems I may be forced to buy outside the country. Anyone have any direction, advice, something??? Anyone...please, lol.
