Technod decals

I got a nice set of Techmod decals in my Kagero Jagdpanther book and wondered whether they were any good. Has anyone used them before?

I have, Eric.  They're REALLY light and thin, you have to be very careful.  They seem to rip if you look at them wrong.  Took me about two or three until I learned to handle them right, so I started on those that I had duplicates of.  That being said, once you do handle them right, they settle down really nicely with a bit of MicroSol or Solvaset, and look just like paint when they're done.  Treat them with kid gloves and they should work out nicely for you.

They're pretty good. What I noticed is that they are a biottch to move around once placed on the model. Use lots water and have a q tip wetted handy. I can't imagine you'll have much trouble being you're putting them on a Tank, must only have a few markings right?

If experience shows that they are fragile, might be a good idea to brush on a coat of future over top before using them.

Thanks guys. Sorry I'm so late in responding back, I got home late from  work. I appreciate the advice given and I will take heed.

Nathan, yes, I have just two numeral groups to put on. They come in groups of 3.

I've built a Techmod kit, the Soviet T-50 light tank, and I've used some decals from one of Kagero's books before. They were ver thin, but I didn't have any issues with them. As for the kit, the plastic was very brittle, like the type cheap plastic spoons are made of.
