What you need is the T34 tracks but late model, as in T34-85. A place called http://www.discountmodels.com sells those. Give that guy a call, he's very helpful. I have implemented Friul tracks in my JS-3M and they worked as advertised.

Thanks for the information. From what I read, the SU-100 was the improved SU-85 and that was the same hull as the T-34. Many reports on the SU-100 claim the front wheel was overloaded, springs were changed to fix this. I was not sure if the tracks were the same as the T-34 as the hull, or if it used the KV style tracks with a little more umph and cleats.... the t-34 tracks seem so ineffecient.

THANKS FOR THE HELP!!! I'm going to search it out now :)

Should work, they were basically the same hull with modifications to the upper hull, much like say a Jagdpanther.

firstly yes i think that you can use t-34 tracks for your su-100.
i did a search on hannants and came up with a whole bunch of stuffSmile [:)]; now i know you're stateside right? but this should still give you an idea what's out there, so all you have to do is get the stuff from your LHS or, dare i say it, evilEvil [}:)]bay!!Tongue [:P]
hope this helps.

Both Fruilmodelissmo and Model Kasten list tracks for the T-34 variants.
M.K. has 3 different sets ... the models 1940, 1941, & 1942.

I found them at a Canadian suppler but you should be able to find a supplier closer to you.

need SU-100 tracks

I have the Italeri/Zveda SU-100 kit.

The vinyl tracks seem kinda boring and if I can't get aftermarket tracks then I'm burying this baby in deep deep ugly mud to hide it :)

Please give me some suggestions for upgrading the tracks on this kit. (Did the SU-100 use the same tracks as the t-34?)

Thanks,
