Masterclub metal tracks

I hope so I put my Fruils together with stragiht pins works real good and there still workable.    ACESES5

These look interesting and the pins do look better than the wire Fruil give you. My only concern would be how strong the pins are. Resin can be rather fragile. Be interested to see some reviews.

Any word on price of these?

I just found a couple of sets on E-Bay and they look about the same as fruils. A KV-1/2 set for £30 and a Tiger I set for 35. So don't expect to save any cash with these.

I hope they are more reasonable then Fruils,I love them but they cost between $ 40-50 USD with shipping,and i just won't do it.

On the plus side,I have improved with Magic Tracks.

I find it hard to justify the cost of AM tracks that can be as much as the kit sometimes. I like the magic tracks, but on older Tamiya kits, I understand it can be important upgrade.

The only time i get Fruils is to replace the rubber band tracks. I would replace all my kit tracks with them but for the cost.

Shame they even more expensive than Friuls!

When I get the Friuls for my current wip through the post I put the wire straight into my detailing tub with all the other bits - it's great for showing runs of wire or tie-downs but I'll tell you what it's NOT good for - making links for Friuls!

My LHS sells various diameter dress makers Jewelery wire. I buy a selection of 0.5 and 0.6mm diameter rolls of this wire - it comes in bags of 25 metres. I use the relevant pin-vice bit and to drill the links out and this method is PERFECT!

The wire is like a pin and needs no glue as it's a snug push-fit. I've only used Friul wire once and that was on Pz. I links - I won't be using them again, talk about PITA!

When I started using Friuls they cost me £20 plus £1.50 postage - now they are £26 plus post so I'm definately going to start and start using Magic Tracks a lot more.
