Heya Tetraodon,

LZ Models makes resin kits of both the amphib and non-amphib versions in 35th scale:

Good luck with the project!

You'd really have to butcher the water weasel to convert it to a weasel.

Amphib:   M-29C

Non-amphib:      M-29

Thanks Rob for clearing that up. A guy in our club had one and it was about the size of a M4 Sherman! I wasn't sure of the brand.  I've seen the actual land version of the Weasel and it does look pretty darn close in size to the Monogram kit here.

Gamera

Is the Monogram kit truly 1/35th? I don't have one but I've seen the kit and the seats etc look closer to maybe 1/25th or so to me.

You've probably seen a Blue Tank motorized copy of one that is a bit larger and included smaller scale figures. That kit had photo of a tan one as the box art with little tiny figures included. The Monogram one is 1/35 scale and maginally larger than a 1/35 scale Jeep or about the size of a 1/35 scale HMMWV.

LZ Models and Azimut Models make resin ones. The LZ one is the more recent and more accurate of the two.  About $60.  Unless you're building for the contest table, I'd say follow Rob's advice and get one of the Monogram kits off of eBay.

The only one I know about in 1/35 is the old one by Monogram from the 1960s. It shows up on eBay
