Thanks Eric, Gamera, Mike, and Russ! Much appreciated!

Ben, am glad you find the articles and website helpful! I cannot be held responsible however for any kit purchases that may or may not result from reading them! Big Smile

God bless Bill Bow Down

Every time an 'impulse buy kit' takes my fancy I invariably find that Bill has not only already built it but has blogged it on his own site too!

http://www.bpmodels.net/

Iirc this link takes you through ALL of Bills newer Blogs right back to 2009 (ish) but choose build guides on the main page and there's a link to his older blogs starting from 2006. They are perfect for me, his style suits my own and he's obviously not a big figure fan so all of the blog is devoted to the AFV build.

He also obviously has an excellent knowledge of the 'real thing' and is very helpful when it comes to pointing out parts that should be fitted and are supplied with the kit but are omitted from the instructions! I wouldn't have know about these things so his site has been a real help!

Take my wip Pz. IV Ausf. G ('Dragon 6363) and MANY of my previous builds like StuG's and the Pz.III Ausf. N with Winterketten (Leningrad). I built the Tamiya version and added W/Ketten Friuls - Bill built the Dragon version and used the W/Ketten Magic Tracks. The build was simple but it was his painting and weathering blogging that helped me that time!

Cheers Bill - keep the blogs coming Yes Beer

Thanks Bish! The Brummbar was one of my most enjoyable builds recently, glad to hear the article will be helpful for you on future projects. Working with zim patterns definitely changes the game up a bit for sure!

Got my issue of the mag today and see theres another great article by Bill in there. Since i started useing oil washes and filters on my armour, i haven't yet done a Zimmed kit. But i have one coming up in a few builds time, so this is going to be very useful.

Well done again Bill.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
