Tractor is a scratch/conversion and the trailer is a converted M15 out of the Tamiya Dragon Wagon kit. The basis for the model is the old Revell/Renwall 1/32 5-ton wrecker. I used the forward cab and front fenders and hood. Mated the back of the Italeri M925 cab. Also used the wrecker frame and rear running gear, with Tamiya Dragon Wagon front axle. Also used Dragon Wagon tires, fifth wheel and many small accessory parts. Wheels are from 1/25th truck kit, sanded down to fit. All other parts are scratch built. The trailer has about 1/4 inch added on each side of the bed portion and forward steps up the gooseneck were also widened to match the bed. Small detail parts were added to the trailer as well. Still need to add the ramps over the rear trailer tires.

Wow, looks really great!!
Whose kit is this?

I still have my faun sitting in the box. Too big of a project for me to tackle now, considering the changes that have to be made to the kit

Yup, widened the trailer about 1/4 inch on each side, basically on line with the outside of the rear wheels. I also moved out the ramps and widened the steps up the gooseneck to match the bed.

M123A1C w/M15A1 trailer update
Posted by HeavyArty on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 11:22 PM
Here is the latest in the M123A1C w/m15A1 trailer build. All that is left in the build is the ramps over the wheels on the trailer. I also got a tripod for my digital camera and the photos are better. Here they are:

And mated to the trailer.

Hope you all like them.
