If I wanted a full Tiger interior kit I'd get the Academy one which is £20-30. Like a lot of the "engineer" kits that promise so much most miss the point. In this case they cheat using magnets etc to make things work.

A true "Engineer" kit is one like those made by  Zoukei-Mura I have two of their kits (the Skyraider and the TA-152) and if they ever start building armour everyone will be in for a shock

MFH may have known about the high resale price of Cyber Hobby Tigers. The price point of this kit seems credible in that light. But I wonder how many of those ebay kits are sold? You could run out of deep-pocketed customers very quickly.

David: I've watched this with curiosity.  Definitely a boutique model -- but appealing to whom?  Hardcore modelers would go a different route for an "ultimate" Tiger.  Appeals to someone who just wants to say they were willing to spend that much?  Dunno.  Can't even imagine it'd be that much fun to build, IMHO.

This was discussed on various fora, such as;

http://militarymodels.co.nz/2013/02/27/update-3-model-factory-hiro-135-ultimate-kit-pz-kpfw-vi-tiger-i-ausf-e-late-production/

The negative points were; it's expensive; they didn't include all the interior parts; they got some things wrong.
