If you look into the Srebrenica massacre where the dutch evacuated and left much of their equipment behind you should find some examples.

i've got a more than a few builds that could be UN or KFOR or IFOR. interesting none are in the middle east.

The only UN operation I can think of was Bosnia. I guess there must have been more, I just can't think of any. You might be able to work your idea into that.

Im thinking of putting a UAZ-469 in UN service. what i would specifically like to do is put it abandoned and look like it was left in a hurry. I would like to be historically accurate so that would mean finding a UN operation in the specified time period in which the United Nations were drove out/made a hasty retreat. does anyone know of said operation? I realize I could probably find this out on the internet but there must be at least 15 or so operations going on at the same time.
