Your main problem will be getting the spaceing right, in my etch there is a template to use which was a relief to see

Phil,

Thanks for the Hobby Boss reference.

found it here so far:

http://www.elmcityhobbies.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_110&products_id=2366&zenid=c6356b52da00b088d43d6c07719d9f95

but not in stock.

Has anyone seen the PE bar armor?

Photos I have seen of bar armor give me the impression that bar armor is thick enough so that it can be realistically portrayed in plastic with modern CAD CAM new tooling.

The Hobby Boss Canadian Leopard has some, and I have a dim memory of Accurate Amrour doing something but all the others I've seen are in photo-etch.

I was just looking at a photo of a 2013? release by Airfix of their "1:48 scale BAE Systems Warrior armoured vehicle".

Doing a quick check of 1/35 th kits on one retail website ( presuming the most popular scale ) came up empty.

Are any "mainstream" manufacturers other than Airfix beginning to produce vehicle models with Bar Armor - in any scale ?
